I work to produce small batch functional ceramics.

There is a particular joy in using your favourite mug, a small highlight in the routine of your day. I create work for that moment. I want my pieces to be used and loved.

As an artist I am still developing, constantly chasing the next exciting glaze colour or form. In Flux is a nod to that aspect of my creative practice and my interest in the technical side of making.
